The Watchman by Robert Crais Read by James Daniels (listened 12/2009)
This was my first Joe Pike novel and my first sampling of Robert Crais’ works. The storyline was about a young lady who’s life was in danger and Joe Pike’s been contacted to help. It was interesting enough to keep me listening—nothing shocking but well read by James Daniels.
The character, Joe Pike I found to be a man of few words and introverted, though at times it was revealed that he did have feelings thus making the story warm based on these insights. As an introvert myself, I immediately became a fan of this character. I’ll probably delve into some of his other works. Rating: Full Throttle!
