| Laural Merlington has been recording tracks for almost 20 years having narrated over 200 titles in all genres; classic, fiction, romance, mystery, fantasy, history, non-fiction, self-improvement.Having directed well over 100 titles, also in all genres, Laural is quite comfortable on both sides of the microphone. Laural is the recipient of Audio File Magazine’s Earphones Award many times over .Laural is a member of Actors’ Equity Association and began working in regional theater as an actor at the age of 17, with over 20 years of stage work, performing the roles of Nora in A DOLLS HOUSE, Catherine in THE FOREIGNER, Sonya in UNCLE VANYA, Gertrude in HAMLET, Polly Garter in UNDERMILKWOOD, Linda in DEATH OF A SALESMAN, Kitty Duval in THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE, and Truvy in STEEL MAGNOLIAS, with Rita Moreno. |
